At last, we have reached that moment when we at Safe Passage for the county of Dorset can ask our two new councils to make pledges to accept “A minimum of 3 vulnerable or unaccompanied children every year for the next 10 years in a fully funded government plan”. This will not only be in commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport but to open up continuous Safe and Legal routes for highly endangered young people, fleeing persecution and conflict, to come to settle in safety within our lovely county.
Will you please come along to one of our two upcoming deputations to show our councils just how wide and strong is the support across our county?
