Maternity Action have released a new report ‘What Price Safe Motherhood’ highlighting the unjust policy of NHS charging vulnerable migrant women when pregnant. #AllMothers living in the UK should be able to access free, high-quality maternity care. The current system is not working and that blanket charging is resulting in women avoiding care, confusion over who is chargeable, erroneous charging and heightened distress amongst migrant women living in the UK.
